just got a new stereo...the stereo of course has a regular input for a single antenna connector. Where can I get an adapter to change from a 2pin to 1pin so my antenna wire will fit?

Anyone know why Nissan has the two-pin plug? I believe there are two cables connected to the plug... Is one of the cables meant for the AM antenna and the other for FM? Or is it just one antenna and a ground?

I believe 1 is for the antenna and the other is for the fm modulator

Huh? The antenna cable has two prongs because Nissan uses a dual diversity antenna system. One antenna is the mast, the other is the filament in the rear window above the defroster wires. A diversity tuner senses which one has the best signal and electronically switches between the two. When you use an adapter to convert the two pins to one input for a normal radio, try it both ways on distant stations since the mast antenna should have better reception than the one in the window. Also, you can't just wire them together since it will mess up the impedance matching between the receiver and the antenna.
