Has anyone replaced the stock 8" sub woofer in a 5th generation Maxima with a free air sub? How does it compare to the stock one? Do you have to add another amp or can you use the Bose one? Thanks!

I'm in the process of replacing the free air sub, and you do need a seperate amp. JL audio makes free air subs as well as kicker,A/D/S,and cerwin vega , personally I'm getting the JL (model 8IB4) infinite baffle, i wish a 10 could fit but it woul cost to much to customize it at least when I priced it, it was to costly.
I'm told that if you replace the Head unit and all seven stock speakers including sub with amps the system "should" sound much better and to think it rattles now...
