Thats a plain old single-din head unit. There isnt more than one size, theres single-din and double-din...but thats not the point...Crutchfield's guide is often wrong, like in this case, and that head unit will fit fine. Stop by your local shop, CC, or BB, and pick up a dash kit, wiring harness, and antenna adapter, and youll be good to go.

Depends where you get it from...theyre all the same just made by different companies. CC and BB, and a lot of places carry Metra, the biggest maker of stuff like that...it should be a 997401 dash kit, a 701763 wiring harness, and 40NI10 antenna adapter. At CC, dash kits are $17, harness are $17, and antenna adapters are $12.

no need to have the trim unless you are mounting it in like a GM or some other old car where they didnt have dins so you had to like cut out the dash etc.
When I put in my pioneer in my 3rd gen I just put it in the frame and it fit just fine. Only pain was getting out the screws without stripping (get largest phillips you can and put all your weight on it). It did push forward a little so it wasnt flush etc but it fit just fine without anything more hten just the antennae and wiring harness.

there's a trick to pulling out the philips screws without stripping them: just tighten them first - give it a turn clockwise and it will break free, then loosen it up. works every time. just use a #2 philips. if you use anything smaller you're going to strip them for sure and have to drill the screw heads off..
+1 Im curious how that works onetoughmax...cuz in my experiences, the screws are stuck in place so either way you hafta break them loose in either direction. The ones that I have stripped, my Dewalt 14.4v takes care of them real quick
