3rd Gen HU Install

Hello, I would search, but that function is locked. I would like to replace the Bose system in my '90 SE with my Pioneer Unit. Can you tell me what cables I will need? Also where is the amp located, and is it possible to bypass without a cable (just rewireing). And, Do I need a dash kit, or will if fit in the single DIN opening.

Thanks in advance!

Go on ebay and get a wire harness. It saves soo much time from splicing the stock wires. To bypass the amps you can do it directly at the site of the speakers. Goto www.geocities.com/craigbrace cick how to and follow the link related to this. It will fit in the DIN opening. The site posted above also has stereo install and removal instructions.

You need to buy it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WD1V Installing it should be as easy as cake now all you have to do is pull the whole DIN holder out connect the adapter then rebolt. It's too easy. I can do it in about 6 minutes with a 2 minute coffee break.

So onto the amps bypassing. Do I need to pull each speaker out to find out what wires go where? or is there a list somewhere. I read on the reccomended page but I am having trouble understanding exactly how it is all hooked up.

I too am curious how to bypass this rear amp.

I have removed the amp, just need to know if anything needs to be wired-up in order to bypass it. can't be as simple as just connecting the speakers... c'mon guys... what gives?
