Need help choosing DVD system!

ok....i currently got around $2200 worth of gift certificates for crutchfield.com.

i'm planning on getting a dvd in dash system for my 5th gen.

I currently have factory bose system with a mtx 801D amp and a kicker L5 15" sub.

I'm trying to choose between the Clarion VRX935VD and the pioneer AVIC-n1.

Now the clarion only costs $999 and the pioneer goes for $1799 (both overpriced in crutchfield, but i'm getting them for free anywayz).

Why is the clarion $999? how come it is cheaper than the VRX745VD?

Anyone got this receiver? any comments?

i know the pioneer is a beast, but the price is crazy.......

i'm thinking of getting the clarion 935 and getting a 4 channel amp and 4 speakers, i think $2200 would be enough for this whole setup.

BTW what the difference between sirius and xm radio?

I see the clarions only do sirius and pioneer only does xm......which one better?

Any comments appreciated!

my buddy has that clarion... its solid for the price. i just cant justify $1700 for a unit that has 2v preouts. wait a month until the n2 is released and the n1 price will drop.
