99 Bose display not working

99 Bose display not working
I have 99 Max with the Bose. The display usually doesn't work, but will appear breifly if you push the tape eject button. Has anyone else had this problem? How can it be fixed. Also, does anyone have detail instruction on how to pull out this deck? Pictures of how to remove would be helpful too.
