I just got a 01 SE w/ the BOSE system. I have a 10" sub that I want to put in the new Max as an addition to the 8" BOSE sub. I don't know my *** from a hole in the wall with audio, but I want to learn. What components will I need to make this work. Any help is appreciated.

My question is do you need the high-low converters if you take the line in from the sub already in the car or does their stock sub have a crossover somehow built into it? I have never worked on the BOSE system so I am not going to be of much help, but the main thing that you would have to do is tap into the signal from one of the speakers, probably the stock sub, and then hook it up to an amp. I know this is pretty vague, but I am sure the above things would work also.
