XM for 96 Max/I30
Would anyone have a link to a thread about the best way to have XM for Stock bose HU (Eg best reciever and installation method for best sound reproduction and reception). Or, can anyone just let me know.
Also, does anyone know if the verdict is final on not being able to use the CD chngr AUX for the 96's.

wrong section, this would be answered easier by those in the audio section.
but my guess (off the top of my head) would be to get an adapter that would plug into your CD changer port on the back of the stock bose unit and it will give you your RCA audio input, plus XM into that and done.

yeah, I have a 1996 GXE and I have the XM-Roady2 radio and it is simply connected to my car's cigarette lighter/adapter and the micro antena is inconspicuously wired under the seats, through the rear seats armrest/trunk compartment and within the rear-windows rubber seals and ontop of the roof. The roady2 has wireless radio frequency so you can tune your unit to your cars radio station and presto !!!! XM radio and it's finest disk jockey's at your fingertips!!! Neem.

I used to have XM before I switched to Sirius in my '96 and got great results using a cassette adapter. I didn't use the XM cassette adapter, I used a Sony cassette adapter as it provides much better sound quality than the XM adapter.
