how to wire a SPST switch?

I am trying to use a Single Pole, Single throw (SPST) illuminated toggle switch as my on/off switch for my screen. For the life of me, I can't figure out why there are THREE Leads and not TWO!

They are numbered 1, 2, and 3 where a/c goes in 1. 2 is connected to one side of the "load" and 3 is a copper lead that is connected to the other side of the "Load" and is labeled "neutral."

The LED (illumination) part of the circuit is between leads 2 and 3 and is wired in parallel to the main circuit.

So here is my question. I have combined my red and orange power wires from the screen together as it was written in the write up. so I now have one power wire.
There is also a black ground wire from the screen.

Which lead do I put my power wire into? 2 or 3? Then what do I attach to the remaining lead?

Can someone with some electrical knowledge please answer this question for me please? I realize this is an easy question but I am an electrical newb but I am struggling through this install myself in part this to learn so I can answer this same question when some inevitably asks me down the road!

Thanks!

Three pong lighted switches are usually leads for power, accessory, and ground. Whatever accessory your tapping into, provides power for on/off switching the installed accessory, constant or ignition switched power, and ground. In other words, power is always supplied to the accessory whatever your tapping into. The other prong is used for switching on/off. And, the third prong is used for ground to light up the lamp inside the switch. Two prong switches just cuts the line to whatever your tapping into. Throwing the switch (in two prong switches) just cuts the power on/off to that line.
