Mounting amp below upside down on rear deck - heat problems??

I want to mount my amp upside down under my rear deck between the speakers. I have read that there could be heat problems if that amp is mounted upside down. Is this true? I also read someone mounted theirs right side up but in the same place. Does this also not cause heat problems since there is no air flow on the heat fins? I know it would be better to mount it on the back of the seat but there is no room. I am also considering under my driver's seat (if it fits) - will I have overheating issues there?

Depends on the amp itself. Efficency as well as cooling capabilities.

well the heat would rise back onto the amp itself, so mounting it upside down with the heatsinks aimed downward isn't the best of choice.

i wanted to do this.. and from my computer dork days before going with a MAC.. hehe i understood the whole heatsink concept... so i knwo the heat will not rise.. upward.. away form the amp.. what if i were to make a small enclosure for the amp.. with ... some fans... ... hmm a 120 mm fan blowing in air from bottom on enclosure.. to the heatsink.. and 1 60mm on each side pulling air OUT..? would this solve my problem some what..?
