amp wire under car

amp wire under car

i couldn't find a firewall spot for my 93 max, so i ran the wire under the car, ne thing i should be aware of before i start driving. ne cons?

let me clarify that its only the power wire that is under the car

as long as it doesn't get cut or hit with anything while the car is in motion, it shouldn't be a problem. but you could run the wire through the hole where the hood release cable goes through the firewall.

I would bring up one point. Get something to cover the wire up with. The black shroud, taped up or something. Eventually road grim... and the killer of all things salt will ruin the cable.

took the advice and installed it by the brake cable. it took a while, but i feel bringing the cable indoors in worth it.
