They crack like an eggshell.

Im not sure what dreams your having with Infinity, but if you demoed Rainbow,Arc,DLS,CDT,Diamond,Alumapro, etc you would wake up in a very wet bed.

Are you serious? Unless you are talking F-1 stauts, no that is not the case. If you start talking Brax, Rainbow Vanadium, THEN you won't be able to afford an ending. Regular Alpine is probably 4 or 3 on a 5-teir scale, 1 being the best.

No, not at all! Alpine makes great equipment, but as with many thing with car audio, you get what you pay for. Also, many audio equipment companies offer many lines of equipment...Alpine too has base models all the way up to their uber-powerfurl F1 line. The CDT recommended by fellow member here would make a fine choice!

F1 is Alpines highline. Its verey limited to the dealers that are allowed to stock/sell it. Extensive training courses as well for the dealers that do becomes F1 Status qualified.

Theres a difference between an Alpine dealer and an F1 dealer. Not all Alpine dealers are allowed the F1 line. In fact the majority of them do not have it.

Anyone can install Eclipse amps, but like Arc,Rainbow,Alumapro,DA,etc...you limit your warranty. 1 year if the buyer installs it, three years if dealer installed. With DA now its Lifetime if Dealer installed.

Alpine makes good HU's and the f1 processors are amazing. not too fond of the subs or components or amps.

Kinda vauge, but I can try...musci at home will sound the best because it is coming to you equally from both left and right sides for the most part, whereas in a car you have most of the music coming to you from the passenger side. So when 'imaging' the soundstage you are essentially setting where the music is coming from. Is that it or are you talking about something else>?
