ive heard it and its very annoying.

2 da max: tinsel slap only occurs when the driver is "moving" alot. the tinsels are either too short and snap, or they can be too long and thus "slap" the cone at extreme excursion (at a low hz and a high volume) if they are not the perfect length. AA, adire, RE puts felt pads under there super subs to prevent this. some manufacturers use woven tinsels leads but some believe it can cause premature spider failure.
