Sound Dampening, Good question

i dont know if you 4th genners out there with subs that hit viabrate your trunk alot from the Outside, i've mastered the inside pretty well with dynamatting my whole trunk, but on the Trunk itself it still does some rattling and it seems as if it is my Trunk Keyhole lever is rattling really bad, i dont know if any of you experience this. if anyone has any suggestions or anything helpful please Chime in thanks guys

Well I know I'm not a 4th genner. But do have a lot experience with systems. There could be quite a few things rattling from the trunk lock.

1. The lock assembly is loose
2. If there's a rod, it could be rattling.
3. The tumblers themselves in the lock could be rattling.

If the lock assembly itself is rattling. Try adding some rubber washers behind it to cushion it.

If the tumblers are rattling... try getting a new one made up... or just shave it off.
