96 Bose system in place of a 91 Bose system?

96 Bose system in place of a 91 Bose system?
All,

I have a 96 Bose head unit and 4 of the 6 speakers. My sister-in-law has a 91 SE with the Bose system. Can I install the 96 system inplace of her non-working 91 system?
