Look at this guy:

768 watts because it's chrome? If it's a 250, shouldn't it be rated at 250 watts? Where do the other 518 watts come from?

1. rockford highly underrates their amps (about 50%)..
2. it's spec'd to put out 250x1 at 4 ohms. it can run much lower loads also.. probably down to 1 ohm mono, but I'm not positive on the specs of that particular amp.
just like my PPI amp is rated at 150x2... I'm actually getting over 700w out of it.
