4th gens: Where is your head unit and amp ground?

I ****ing hate the fact that the ground on the harness for the head unit doesnt work. I've got the head unit ground but theres a hissing noise in my tweeters that I think is coming from the head unit not being ground well (that and amp noise, but i would like to reduce the hissing as much as possible)

my head unit is ground to the chasis that you see when you take out the center console. There was already a ground wire connected to it to mine so I just put head unit ground on the same spot. Both my amps are gounded to a strut bolt in the trunk. I have no noise what so ever with a 5 yr old JVC HU, 1 yr old hifonics amp (hi's), and 3 yr old JBL amp (lows).

can you be a little more specific as to where the hed unit is ground? when you remove the center console will it be to the left? right? down? up?

First thing I'm going to try is re-grounding the headunit. Another question is how did you connect it there?

down to the right. when you take all that stuff out of middle (vents, hu, etc). All of that metal frame behind dashboard can be used as a ground. When you look down to the right though there, there is a screw with a ground wire already there. At least there was in mine, but I'm not sure what that ground wire is for. I connected mine right to it.
