kove audio?

Has anyone ever heard of Kove audio? I'm getting ready to redo my system, and I was thinking about the CDT CL-61s everyone keeps talking about, but then I started talking to some friends and they were all raving about Kove. I had never heard them mentioned anywhere. Any opinions?

I was under the assumption that they use to make descent subs(from what I had read). Last I heard/read of them though was a few years back. I assumed that they had gone out of business.

Anyone can make subs these days... look at Wolfenhagen. And with technology and materials today... just about any sub has the ability to be awesome. It just depends upon how it's made.

You never can know anymore which to choose. An old company has years of experience... but they may never stray from their process. A new manufacturer doesn't have those years of experience... but are willing to try different processes. It's a gamble now... and yet it isn't, as crazy as that sounds.

But I wouldn't get them... just because Fred Durst is advertising for them...

Alpine is crap. Is Kove Audio professional grade, like MB Quart or Eclipse?

The company as well as Hart has been around for quite some time, but didnt make any real significant impact to the 12V industry with the exception of the Armageddon subs. Other than that most people are very unaware of them existing.

The Armageddon subs were quite impressive for their time, and will still compete with some of the bigger subs out there. Tons of awards were definately granted to it.

The site is lagging horribly for me, but Im sure theres more info on there. I carried them for awhile, but made hardly any sales, so I dropped both the Kove and Hart lines...

If Rikki Rockett uses Kove Audio "Produkts" then it's gotta be good!!

Must be just perfect for blasting old Poison tapes.
