Power handling of a 15' atlas??
I know the RMS of the 15' Atlas is 300watts, but what is the peak?
I'm debating on either two 15' atlas's or 1 avalanche, what do yall think?

We already covered the uselessness of a subs power rating in this thread, starting on post #13. We touched on the Atlas vs. Avalanche in post #11.
Since you have a "new" scenario, I'll give you my opinion. If you put two Atlases in your car, the box will be less than optimum and that's putting it nicely. You will be choking their performance. Since the Avalanche requires a smaller box for optimum output, I would go with a single 15" Avalanche.

JA....they're getting close though, don't they have like 32 inch subs now?? lol
sorry to have a repeated thread, but couldn't find my other one so i just made a new one, how many watts would be advisable to make the avalanche reach optimum performance?
