Speaker Rewiring?

Speaker Rewiring?
I just got a set of 220 watt (front and back) sony xplod speakers. I'm planning on getting the alpine 9847 head unit...will I have to rewire the speakers or anything like that to make the system sound better? If I just replace the stock head unit with the alpine, will this be enough to obtain the optimum sound?
Thanks

if you want higher performance outta ya speakers you have to run speaker wires from the front speakers to the back and hook them up to a 4 channel amp the rear speakers will be easier cause its a shorter distance to your amp if your amp is in your trunk. i'm thinking of going with the rockford punch series speakers being that all my speakers now are blown

No, you dont need to run new speaker wire at all, especially when only using head unit power. He said nothing about an amp, so all he needs to do is bypass the Bose amp at each speaker, using about 6 inches of speaker wire.

HATE to BASH on everyone in here but ALMOST NOBODY gave useful advice to this persons situation.
Max5= Your opinion does not help him, or his situation. Accurate opinion tho.
hdiggeddy= You dont even know his budget, speaking with Focal Utopias. He dosent even talk about an amplifier, or dynamat, or anything. Don't try to sound all importnant with that brand nonsense. Besides, Focals were the hottest and the greatest about 3 years ago...
Also pioneer sells about 65% of car audio speakers. Not under the pioneer name, but under brands like...kenwood, panasonic, etc.... Alot of companies use their cone's and materials.
Naijai=...well good point. =)
Laylow1988= Please use punctuation, and your instructions make no sense. You dont give instructions acutally, you just ramble.
Conrad= thank god for your 1 sentence answer...thats all that was needed.
Kpr10is= Good answer, but he has a GXE model maxima, which probably does not have BOSE. But good analysis.
My point is, seeing all this mis-information and junk has to stop. Please just read the thread and try to be helpful. (almost nobody...is that proper grammar?)
