Bose HU Question

Is there an extra set of RCA's for adding my sub in or do I need to use one of those converters?

i have a 96 gle with the bose radio, i just bought an audiobahn sub and amp. i was thinking that i have to wire the hi-level inputs on the amp to my speakers. ive heard that the signal is not as clear when you use the hi-levels as opposed to RCAs. what is this converter you both speak of, and where can i get one.

You can just splice RCAs into the back speaker outs from the HU.

you say the bose is a POS... i think its sounds pretty darn good and if you replace the head unit you also have to replace all the speakers. they are 1 Ohm and wont work with just a new headunit.
