I plan on building a dual 12" box like the one sweetsound2001 had in his car. I can't use his dimensions because my subs need less volume. I need about .90 sq. ft. in each compartment of the box. Can anybody help me with the dimensions?

I also want to build an amp rack. I want to mount it on the top of the trunk, attached to the back panel, and sides of the trunk. What can I use to mount it good, so it will stay strong and steady? Where can I get a cooling fan to install up there?

Any ideas? opinions?

In order to do this stuff, I recommend going to a "real" search engine and doing a search on car audio installation or something, and check out all the tutorials you can find.

As for mounting spots in the car, there are millions- you just have to know the structure of the car and be able to see how it's put together, then determine if you can put a bolt through it without hurting the bolt, part, stereo install, or anything behind it.
(i.e. don't drill through the floor of your car and into the gas tank or brake lines. I almost drilled through my brake lines while installing my 300ZX seats, but I stopped and checked under the car one more time and found I'd drill right into the steel lines if I drilled there.)..

Common sense goes a long way in situations like that.
good luck.
