Removing cd player

Couldn't find it in here so could anyone point me in the right direction on how to remove this thing. It is for a 02-03, 6-disc in dash player. Thanks

Not sure if theres still a free write up anywhere, but ill try and explain

Open the ashtray and pull out the actual plastic ashtray by just pulling out on the felt part. Remove the screw thats now exposed underneath it. Pull or pry upward around the shifter, this whole plastic piece which goes from below the a/c controls to aroud the shifter pulls up and out. Now under the a/c controls, back in the dash, there will be 2 screws that hold the metal bracket secure to the dash. Remove these. The a/c vents pop straight out towards you, you are going to think you broke the clips on it because theyre very tight, but you wont. Pulling this out will expose 2 more screws that also hold on the metal bracket to the dash. Remove those, and then youll be able to pull out the radio and a/c controls together.

hope that helps at all
