Hard wire PS2 in 4th Gen?

Anyone know how to hard wire one to the car? Any help or diagram would be appreciated. I know it runs on AC and not DC so I assume some sort of converter is required. Thanks guys.

Yep, you pretty much answered your own question. It will require a DC to AC converter. Those can be found at parts stores, some car audio stores, or even Wal-Mart...

You'll need a screen or H/U that can support the input RCA cables. But I assume you already have that since your asking about the PS2.

A lot of people put theirs under the passenger seat. Everything is pretty much plug and play.

The new slim one... You'd have to take measurements.

From what i remember, the new slim one rums on DC so you wouldn't need a converter, but i think its 10volts dc so i dunno how that would work out.

Actually 8.5 volts, but the system should already come with an adaptor for AC... minus well go ahead and just use the converter with it.

I'm almost 99% positive the slim ps2 will fit in the glove box. It's just a little bigger than a DVD case and those fit fine with a little room to spare.

When I get a few extra bucks, I'm gonna trade in old ps2 for this so I can put it in the glovebox and be all stealthy...
