I want to upgrade my head unit and get ride of the POS Bose head unit. Are the speakers in the doors ran off of the head unit or off of an amp? Is it as easy as installing a new deck or is it complicated?

I am about to order the parts today and try to install myself, figures crossed.

The speaker are running off the amp at 1 ohm. With the pac the new head unit will conver the signal so you dont blow the speakers or the headunit. good luck.
