Need an Opinion........

Ive decide that i want to replace my 2 kenwoods (which suck) with one of the following to free up some trunk space. My amp is rated at 460 watts rms (460 x1 @ 4 ohms, 230 x2 @ 2 ohms) and all these are 500 watts rms except for the eclipse which handles 450. Does anyone own or have any experience with these subs?

Rockford Fosgate P312d2

Alpine Type R swr1222d

Phoenix Gold Xenon 12d

Eclipse SW7124dvc T2

I've always had good experience with RF subs [HE2 and above series, of old]. The Type R is fairly good for the money, also. I have little/no experience with the others.

Im hoping to spend under $200 for one sub, but i suppose i'd spend up to $250.

Type R and eclipse you're gonna have to go to E-bay for those prices but I'd go with those two I don't like Rockford and I've never heard Phoneix Gold subs.

I recently heard the Type R's and was very disapointed... Go with the eclipse, or be like me and get a diamond audio M6 (pounds harder than budys w6 and is rated higher).

Memphis M-Class. You won't be disappointed trust me. They're excellent subs.

stick with the ava...needs much less power to get loud. IMO if you dont have at least a solid 1200watts coming from an amp dont bother with an XXX.
