I've been told that some Infiniti i30s have Bose systems that uses amps in each speaker (and therefore requires the poor car owner to replace *every* component in his system if he wants to upgrade). Any way to figure out whether that's the case in my '99 i30?

If you want to keep any of the bose system, you'll need the pac AOEM-NIS2 adapter to convert the signal so that it can be used by the hu or speakers.
