Power and RCA wire routing for Audio

For those with a stereo system in their cars, where do you guys route the power and RCA wires to the amp in the trunk? I was thinking straight down the middle, but heard of some people doing it along the side of the car. I would like to take the easiest route.

I'm questioning the wire routing to the trunk of the car.

same.. run wires under the dash around the steering column.. snake them down the little kick panel under the hood latch.. then pry up your door sills and run them under there.. shoving them under the plastic pillar inbetween the two doors. then take out your back seat and continue to run them thru there and into the trunk

It seems like you'll break them.. but your door sills and the panel in there all just...pull off. No screwdriver required.

I routed my power down the driver side, and my RCAs down the passenger side. Since I have 0/1g power wire, i didn't want my RCAs to pick up any interferance.

Well damn, i went through a lot trouble for nothing. I guess I figured that I would do it down opposite sides rather than doing it down one side and running into problems.

Not necessarily,Theres alot more room down the passenger side. I found it alot easier. Especially when you take the front seats out. It gets so damb cramped in there!
