Dual Battery Setup

How do i run a dual battery setup for my system. I have a red top for the main battery and i would like to use my yellow top for my secondary (in the trunk). How would i go about wiring this up and what other components would i need?

I have this same setup n my car. I have 0/1ga power wire (fused), running to an baterry isolator b/t the batteries, and then to the battery. Run a 0/1ga ground to the chassis from the battery n the trunk. The just use the secondary battery to power your amps. I can get u some pics of needed.

I can e-mail them to u if u give me an addy...i only have an isolator b/t my batteries it keeps them from draining each other. If u used a relay ur battery n the trunk would only pull a charge when the ignition is on, but the guys at my stereo shop said it wasn't necessary. I've been running 2 batteries for about 6 months, and love it. With the sub enclosure, amp, sound deadener, and battery n the trunk...it does squat the rear of the car.

Ur gonna want to do the "big 3", i think there is a write-up on how to do it somewhere on the forum. The shop did it for me about a month ago, and i can tell a huge difference. Even with the extra battery my lights were still dimming, but after the "big 3" they don't. I think my headlights may be a little brighter, and I am getting a small increase in voltage output. I used 0/1ga for the "big 3" and it helps that u have a optima up front, that way u can ground to the side terminals.
