hey, ive been stalking you today on this and the 12volt forum...not on some ghey ish ,everybody just keeps telling me your the man as far as headunits and such.
Im in central NJ,01 gle,i want an in-dash monitor,no flip out. Do you recommend an eclipse, or this kenwood excelon ddx7015. what do you charge for the eclipse units roughly? Once i decide i'll probably get it from you so i dont need to pay for/wait for shipping from somewhere.

 

Pricing all depends on which model you want. Theres a few AVNs (with Navi) and a few AVXs.

thanks. im checking it out right now, but im not too impressed with their website.
Basically, the things i want are: double din so i can flush mount monitor with little or no custom work, nav,dvd.
AVX 2404 is out because no nav (?).

question... do i need a maxima installation kit to install the eclipse AVN into an 02 max... or are the original brackets that come with the maxima enough... it just seems that when the original brackets are used the eclipse AVN doesn't sit flush with the console of the car... it seems that the radio sticks out just a little bit, is that normal or would the maxima kit help push the radio back more?????

 

You would need the OEM GXE dash kit. Itll sit flush
