Anybody else seen/heard about this monsterous thing???

Standing in at 23” tall, 320 pounds, and with 12,000 watt peak 6,000 watts rms music power handling, you will be hard-pressed to find something that will get in the ring with this heavyweight.

 

Although very impressive, even MTX admits that you will be hard pressed to build a box baffle that would support the weight of the sub w/o adding a substantial support brace to hold up the motor structure.

I had a video of it but the link is broken. Sorry. Maybe someone else has it. I haven't heard of anyone actually putting it to the test yet either. Would love to see it though.

 

Yep... I remember the thread a month back or so. I don't think we all were very impressed with it.

 

overkill. i'd take a heavy hitting 15 over that thing anyday.

 

what waste of everything...space, inaccurate specs/features, and $.

 

As much as that thing is overkill, I'm still kind of curious at to what kind of numbers it can hit.

 

nothing 2 15's couldnt do on a daily basis...

 

Yeah, you got a point there. Plus the 15s would sound cleaner.
