Just a quick question for the electric orgers i would lke to know some theories or help on repairing. My passenger door light does not seem to be working anymore and i also noticed while cleaning out my interiorthat the door speaker in that door is not working either. al conections seem to be fine does anyone have a clue on how i can fix this?
tried bulb nothing i dont think there is power going to the light and the speaker may have been gone for a while but im pretty sure it worked until about 2 weeks ago and i havent driven my car in over a year
its the mysterious passenger door light not working on the 4th gens. this is what happens sometimes the bulbs may not work because of the connectors grounding out. the only way to fix this is to reset the bcm
[QUOTE=SiCkBLaCKMaX99]what fuse would run the light and speaker that doesnt make any sense the widow still works please help
golly geee wiz! you know, you try to help some people...lol
well....then maybe you oughta trace the wire that powers the equipment that dont work to it's power source, then check for continuity.

I know that you can reset *one* of the computers in the maximas by turning the car to "on", quickly pressing the door switch five times and then shutting the car off. Although, I am not sure if this is the BCM or some other computer. (I used it after repairing damages due to a car accident to get the airbag light to go off, stupid airbag didn't even go off in the wreck... shoulda wore a seatbelt... I guess I also shouldn't get into car accidents)
