Has anyone in here bought any jl 12w6v2s? If so, how much did you get them for and where? Also, how do you like them?

 

i love my 12w6v2.....bought it on ebay over a year ago.....it was 315 shipped.... love it, with only 500 watts, woofer sounds great.....

 

i don't have them, but i know for a fact they are pretty sick subs, id buy them

 

Okay, so what about 12W7s? I have read reviews on both and I have read that most love the W6s more than the W7s. So my next question, anyone have any W7's?

 

W7's are insane also, but a little over priced imo. you could get just as good subs or better for less money.

 

Both are great subs, you'd be happy with either. . . you'd just be happy and have some cash in your pockets with the w6v2's.

I have a 10w6v2. I love it. I got it for 425 in a JL High Output box

 

one 12...i think maximelt said it...it hits harder than my 2 12 inch s12L5 solo barics on the same JL 500 amp....but they were jsut in a standard spec sealed box... its one clean sounding woofer...waiting to get the amp tuned and all, cant wait too here it once thats done.

 

i had a 10w3 and it hit hard.. I will be getting a 12w6 soon.. Go for it.

 

i like the amp install... i hope one day mine looks like that.

 

I've heard Dub 3's and those are amazing. The Dub 6's are even better.

 

I agree totally. I've heard a lot of JL setups, and had thought about getting a W6v2 myself...but i didn't want what most people i know have. The people that were happier with the W6's rather than the W7's were probably just looking n their wallet at the money they had over. You'll b very happy with the W6, especially if u've never owned any JL products.
