Well, I finally got around to covering the driver side door with RAAMmat today. On the inside there are 2 and in some spots 3 layers of the stuff and 1 to 2 layers between the door and the panel. All holes sealed. I still need to build up a baffle to mount the woofer, as it's currently using the factory mount which holds it, but not much else. I am also playing around with polyfil and a gutter screen to pack the mount with poly fill to help control the cone movement a little (quazi-aperodic) and help control standing waves. Once I get the other door done tommorrow, I'll really get to test it out. So far, bass response is pretty good, but I won't know anything for sure untill the new baffles are made. The old ones mounted to the door panel gave good bass, but the sound became to closed in, and I lost the nice open sound stage I was used to.
