Hey guys, i have 2 12" w3v2 running off a JL 500/1 and i was wondering who else had the same set up and how much did you turn the gains up on the amp. Can someone show me wheres the max i can tune it up to, receiving best power without blowing the subs?

The gain control is not a volume control. It is setup to match the output of the particular head unit you are using. Not all head units have the same pre-out voltage so that is the reason the gain on the amplifier is adjustable, this way you get the best signal to noise ratio possible with minimal distortion.
