i had a 15 in a large ported box, 4.5cubic before port and sub displacement. 16.25 high couldn't fit much higher than that in trunk (as well as physically getting the box into the trunk)

Even if I wanted to devote my entire trunk to a system, I dont think I would go with a box that size. It's just insane. Anyway I used to have a 15 inch round Solo-baric. It was in the trunk of my 240sx. Needless to say I didnt have too much room left in there for anything else.

My punch only needs 2.5 cubes ported. Its not the best sub but it does the job and i still have a good amount of room in the trunk.

When I had an Infinity Beta 15, I had it in a sealed box of ... get this ... 1.1 cu.ft.

Those subs sealed SO SMALL. 12" only required .6 cu ft.

Round Solobaric 15" since 1998. Small box for a 15", but may want to downsize to a .55 10" behind the rear left wheelwell in trunk. If anyone has put a sub in this position, say something if you didn't like it before I sell my current sub!

I've got a sub in that exact location. I love it there. I'm using a rockford hx2 10 inch powered by an alpine mrd-m301 it sounds good to me the box is about 1.0 cubes

I am just finishing a JL 15" W3. Fiber glass box made into where spare tire sits. A crunch 1000w two channel amp. Had 2 JL 15" W0 in a box that took up entire trunk, and the W3 is much better

Me either! I like my trunk space too much. How about a 15" infinite baffle? I'd have to measure, but I think the opening behind my rear seats MIGHT be large enough. Anyone here try that?
