all in one or one at a time??

ive been searchin for a good headunit that would go w/ a 7" screen, so naturally i am lookin at the big dvd/cd/mp3 combo... but i was thinking, wouldnt it be cheaper to buy a regular cd/mp3 headunit and have a seperate dvd player? what do you guys think??? any input or experiences welcome

stand alone dvd players are cheaper. it's really all about what you reallywant and need. if you want convenience, go with the all in one indash.
