dvd navigation

hello. i was wondering if anyone of you can enlighten me to aftermarket DVD or hard drive based navigation systems. some features i'd like is the ability to be updated in the future, ability to use the system while listening to CDs at the same time, ease of use and DVD playback. the price ranges i've seen on crutchfield are from $1,500-2k+

you will probably like the Eclipse better than the Kenwood deck. I'm personally going with the Kenwood because of how well it flows with my trim.

Pioneer Avic N-1

The best of the best, it's the mother of all DVD-navigation electronics.

I'm in the process of getting an 05 Honda Odyssey EX-L (w/o NAV/RES) and I'm considering the Pioneer D1.

However, that Eclipse AVN5435 is making the decision A LOT more difficult.
