Looking for a comparable sound

I used to have a Bazooka party pack that had two 10" 450 Watt max and a Baookz el260. Thw woofers were 200Watt RMS I beleive. I'm looking for something comparableto that sound. The bass was decent. However, it was stolen from my car at the body shop. I saw a 12" 500W clairon srw3081 subwoofer for a cheap price. Does anyone have experience with that woofer? What amp would I need to run it? Would a 12" be as precise in matching beats as a 10" when it comes to bass heavy music?

It all depends on the sub you get, whether it will be precise/accurate or not. 12s can be as accurate as 10's, and can get louder because they have more swept volume. I can tell you that most anything will be comparable to those party packs, because we sell the ones from Bazooka and MTX at CC, and they arent anything great.

Do you have anything left in your car? i.e. What deck are you using? Whats your budget? etc etc

I still have the 180Watt Infitinty speakers all around that I got from Circuity City. I also still have the my Sony MX620 headunit. I haven't been able to see the damage done to the wiring by the theives since my car is still at the body shop. I know the party pack cost me like $240 with the service plan. My budget is around $150 to $200 I would say.

If the wiring is still there, and 150-200 is your budget for an amp and sub, Id say your better off not getting anything at all. On a low budget, Id probably get an Adire Audio Shiva 12 ported, they go for 125 online, plus a decent amp to power it. Thats my .02.

The reason I say that budget is because the party pack fell in that price range. I'm looking for something descent, not earth shattering. But thanks for your help.

It's hard to keep it decent with that price range. Maybe an old system off a friend. Nothing really new. Maybe lightning audio They've actually come up in quality the past couple of years.

I might end up hitting ebay. I'll probably have to go up on my price range to get something good.
