mad rattling
help guys ever since i got my system the rattling has been insane...not just my mirrors but it seems like the whole damn trunk is rattling..i took off the third brake light by the window..and it still rattles. also i put a cotton towel underneath the rear deck. so im just looking for cheap alternatives to stop the rattling and maybe some main points of the trunk i should look for that shake

Yeah, Dynamat will, but there are much more cost effective and efficent companies to go with. My recommedation is Damplifier from Second Skin Audio. Other people have taken a liking to eDead V1.0. OR...you could go the liquid route, and use either Spectrum or eDead V3.0.
The CHEAPEST route would be to use Peel 'n Seal from HD, but the stuff reeks and is not as easy to work with, nor as effective.

wow... looks of it sucks.... OH WAIT. ITS SUPPOSED TO BE UNDER YOUR CARPET/INTERIOR so u dont see it....
oh yea... maybe that would take knowledge for someone to realize... or better yet if u read the instructions before u install it u wont have to look at it...

But thanks for bringing that point up, I never considere that before, good thing you told me this, I only have around 400 sqft of deadening, it would look really ugly.

...and how much do you wanna bet that 90% of people whom reccomend dynamat don't have ANY deadening in their car at all?

And yes, the deadener will stick if applied correctly. ie. getting all the air out and giving every sq in an extra once over with the roller handle. I wish I had my computer back up and running so I can post some pics. My new HD won't be here till next weekend. Sorry.
