I have been considering purchasing the avic D1, but am a little concerned as to how clean it will look installed in the dash.

Does anyone have one of these installed in a 5th gen?

If the dash is double din it should look clean. Also, this unit doesn't play dvd.

Notice the additional gap on top? I suspect the D1 look the same??? Is there any other trim that would help, or would you have to go custom?
