There has been a lot of trouble with the floor... mostly that now that the system is in there and working I have a hard time bring myself to take it out... especially in this heat. I will get it all in there soon I hope though. It looks like I'll have to wait til my next paycheck/wave-of-tips come in to buy the supplies for the floor/amp-racks.

Hey guys. I was just reading over this thread of mine from forever ago for the worst of possible reasons. I got jacked and I needed some information on expenses for my insurance claim. Isn't it the worst when these stupid mother uckers can't go buy their own ****. Hey guys though, I appreciate all the complements. One of you said I should offer some side work. Well if anybody would like me to build them a custom sub enclosure I could make it a 3 or 4-fer project when I make my new box.

Yeah, the stereo wasn't even in the maxima anymore. My Maxima died pretty hard guys, everything went to **** around the same time. It won't idle correctly, the transmission seems to be acting up even though its practically new, its smoking. Only 136k on that car. Its unfortunate. It has the GLE package and all. Its for sale or for parts if anybody is interested PM me.

I'm driving a 1990 Nissan Stanza now though. And that car is a true testament to Nissan quality. Still driving with the odometer-god-knows how many miles and probably 200 some-odd occasions where the previous owner ran the car on empty because a bolt on the oil pan was loose ( the entire cause of the mysterious oil-leak the previous owners dealt with ). they were losing like 2 qt's a week and didn't bother to look under the car and check to see if there was a steady drip drip coming from anywhere. Took two minutes to fix.

On a side note, were you guys aware of the severe key problem Nissan has left us owners to deal with? We own 5 nissans: 3 max's, 1 stanza, and 1 pathfinder. The maxima key could get us into the pathfinder. The maxima keys were exchangable for entry but not for ignition. and all three maxima keys can open the door on my stanza. Its like they're backwards-compatible or some bullshi#. Crazy nissan people
