viper 530T... window control module

viper 530T... window control module

where on earth is the window control module located? im in the car right now and i cant find it.. do you go after the master switch or not?

Gotta run wires into the door to each switch.

ok is the module in the door switch or not. and im assuming u wire the 530t between the switch and the motor right??

well this sucks it works but now the window switches dont and neither do the door locks wtf? Don help me out man...lol

You gotta cut each wire right at each switch. The 'module' is located inside each switch.

ok that makes a little sense... thats what i did but now the locks and the windows dont work when i press the switch..

hey Don i did what u suggested... but now the windows roll all the way up or all the way down. cant get them to stay in one position when i use then from inside... ( its one touch opperation both ways)

Thats one touch. Just press the opposite direction for them to stop moving.

they dont... when i do that they just stop and go back up or down....( both driver and passanger) any suggestions Don?

alright so far it works like this....

the driver side and passanger side windows work one touch.. when i want to open the windows they go all the way up or all the way down... i cant get a window to be half way open...wtf?

i want this thing to work just like factory.. but i want to roll the windows up and down with the remote!!! why on earth does this not want to work corrrectly? Its wired up right?!!?!?!?!?!

Same thing happens to me. I have to give the window trigger a quick pull back up to get it to stop half way. You can actually stop it anywhere. If you pull all the way up, the window will return to closed.

thats stupid... is this really how its supposed to work... i thought that it worked like factory windows except you can roll them up with the remote and close then also!!!

This is just my understading based upon how mine works and was programmed. You cannot roll the windows up with the 530T. You can roll them down and if it has been 30 seconds since you last used the window feature, they will roll up with the arming of the unit. The windows can be rolled down im incriments if programmed to do so. I believe the default setting is one touch. I installed 2 530T's, one for each set of windows.

Yes. Do you really want to have to hold the remote buttons down while the windows go down? That sucks. One touch is way better. Nonetheless, you should be able to stop the windows from moving by touching them in the opposite direction, and if you cant then something is wired wrong.
