High pitched whine when under throttle

I just wired an ipod car charger up to the car. I took it apart and rewired it so that it would have power but not take up my cigarette lighter slot. However i have noticed that under throttle I now hear a high pitched whine.

Could this be because of 1. a bad ground (im using the cig lighter's ground) or 2. The audio connection going from my ipod directly to my deck (aux) not being shielded properly. 3. both? Any help would be appreciated.

system noise is often caused by a bad ground. recheck the ground to see if it's secure, or ground it at another location (sand off any paint if you do)
