Upgrade or not?

Currently I have the CDT 61a ($150 on the zeb.com) components for the front that are being pushed by the front channels of a 300.4.

I think they sound pretty good, but I have been wondering lately how much better it would sound if I Replaced the CDT's with some JL XR650-csi's or Diamond S600s HEX's.

FYI - The rear are some old MB Quart 6.5's for fill. I also have a JL 12W3 sub in the back running off an Alpine amp pushing about 300W rms of power.

What do you all think? Are the JL and Diamonds going to increase the SQ? Or am I wasting money?

Thanks!!

Wow! Nobody has an opinion on this? Just looking to see if you guys think these 3 speakers are in or around the same level of quality? I have gone and listened to them but can't seem to find a place that I can listen to them against each other.

Keep the CDT's or will the DA's or JL's be considared an upgrade??

Please help!

For the price, I wouldnt get the JLs. The retail on Diamond is up there too, but places like Unexpected Creations , and a place called AVE near me, sell below retail and hook up their regular customers. From day 1 in my car audio life Ive disliked JL because its played out/you see it at any show, the price is very high, and people who know nothing about JL buy it because of the name. Ive always been a Diamond fan though. Id definitely take the hex's over the cdt's, but cdt's arent a bad budget speaker. It all depends on your price range.

Thats my .02

Thanks for the input. I decided to go with Focal 165v2's for the front.
