You can find them on ebay by searching for rap video or rap dvd.

download the videos from kobravideos.com through bittorrent or mirc, and then make your own.

I've been thinking of doing this as well. I have a DVD player that plays VCDs now. Has anybody just tried using a DVD recorder and just recording videos from a cable station like MTV, etc...? I was considering getting a DVD recorder but I don't know a whole lot about them.

Could you explain this a little more. What is a bittorrent? How hard is it to do this?

go to kobravideos.com and read the mirc how to. can get a little confusing if you are just reading and not actually going through the motions but trust me it is well worth it. once on mirc you can join the kobra-chat channel (type "/join #kobra-chat") and ask for help. then just wait patiently and someone, hopefully, will be more than happy to answer SPECIFIC PROBLEMS (meaning don't say "how do i dl videos? ") and that's basically it. I knew nothing about this whole deal and learned in basically one night and within a week or two had over 100 brand new music vids ready to boom.

I take it you have the new version of nero, cuz in that there is a program called nerovision and that lets you make your own dvds with menus and you can do the same with SVCDs and VCDs

you don't want to make DVD's. You are going to want to make them into VCD's so you will be able to scroll through videos like you would tracks on a regular CD.

You dont have to make a VCD to be able to scroll, Using a VCD wont get as many videos on the CD vs DVD.
Her's what I did I used NEROVISION and just added a chapter to the very end on video. that way when you press the next button it will slide rite to the next video in less then 2secs.
BTW- I use a ps2 to play my DVDS so I had to figure that way out because it doesnt play VCDS

Go here and search for the videos you want

http://search.singingfish.com/sfw/home.jsp

Download them and burn them to a blank CD.

I just used nerovision to burn a SuperVCD last night and it worked great. Only thing I didn't like is that the only way it seems to be able to pick each video from the menu is if you do it text only w/out the thumbnails (if you've ever used nerovision you know what I'm talking about). With the thumbnails, I had to actually select the number of the video on my dvd remote to get the videos playing, then I was able to use the next or forward button.

Anyone know what the difference is between a supervcd and a regular vcd? I picked super cuz it just sounds hotter

I tried doing the Super one time and it just didn't come out the way I wanted it to so I like to stick w/ the regular VCD's. I don't make menu's, it just caused problems for me so I just leave the menus off and make it like a normal CD but w/ videos.

Can you fit more videos by using VCD as opposed to Super VCD?

We must all be taking the same history class because I was wondering the same exact thing... I have a version of Nero that came with my DVD burner, so I'm not able to make SVCDs but I can make VCDs on CDs, but I'd much rather use DVDs since I know they'll hold the majority of the videos I want to carry with me. Now that I have my DVD/Monitor installed, I'm trying to avoid a CD/DVD overload in my car.

Is the full version of Nero worth getting or is there something else available that is better? When making VCDs, I like the way you can change the text and the background on the menu screen, as well as being able to change the images in the thumbnails by scrolling through the video (that's a REAL nice feature! Makes it look much more professional when people see it). I've been using Nero for a long time, so I'm used to the way they do things. Thanks, guys!

@sean05...

I'm trying to figure out how to put videos on a DVD instead of on a CD at this point, but I can say that it only took my computer about 8 minutes to encode a 55-minute video plus five music videos before it started burning them to CD. I just read an article discussing the history behind VCDs and SVCD format - I didn't know it was a Chinese technology that's extremely popular there, and that SVCD format is between VCD 2.0 format and DVD formats.... very interesting...

I guess it depends on what kind of processor & memory you're working with. My computer's only a 1.66GHz AMD Athlon w/1GB of memory (closing in on 3 years old). You might have to remove some files (backing them up first, of course!!!) from your hard drive and then de-frag the hard drive and see if that helps some - it couldn't hurt...

Good luck, bro!
