What are the best wires?
I wanted to know what were the best wires i could get, what brand?
And as for gauge size, i'm running a 3000 watt amp and 2 12" 700 watts RMS each(1400 max each). My friend told me to go for 4 gauge wires...thanks

Gauge wire depends on the current draw of the amp, not its max power rating. Check the fuses on the side of the amp, add them together, and post up what the total max current draw is. Or a make and model will probably work too.

lmao but i dont hav that much cash i just bought a G35 and i dont feel lik wasting that much cash on the max nemore...wuts better then cuz loook....i hav this already
2 Audiobahns AW1200N Dual 4 OHM Subs 12" 700 watts RMS each 1400 max
and in sounddomain these are my options...
Obviously option 2 is alot more expensive so i want the Mono amp that supplies enough power to my subs wut should i do then

how is option 1 more expensive than option 2??? They're just examples of how to hook up your subs.
Max power isn't real power. It's what audio companies (usually the crappy ones) use to rate there amps/subs. They measure the amount of power the amp can put out right before it blows up under unrealistic circumstances. Max power is pure bs. You should be looking at rms power ratings from a good brand.
Do your self a favor and get rid of that legacy amp.
BTW if you keep it you'll probably need 4 awg

Getting 1400w RMS out that thing is a far fetched goal. Unless Legacy has changed in the past 5 years, they are one of best when it comes to overrating an amplifier. If you get yourself a true 1400w rms I would recommend 2 gauge wiring and go for the cheapest wiring kit you can buy (knukonceptz are cheap). If your heart is set on that legacy 4 gauge will be fine besides it looks difficult to install with terminals facing that way. It'll be easier to find an amp that put out this type of power at 1 ohm rather than 4 so option 1 might be the better wiring plan to go with.

exactly i want option 1, and i know max power is bs...thats why i stated that my audiobahns are at 700 watts RMS each...so wut i need is an amp that pushes 1400w RMS @1 ohm...and stable too right? wuts the best amp

For $250 that can be done.

Thats your best bet. Will put out around 1500 at 1 ohm. You may also wanna look for a Hifonics 1500d.

Oh, and as far as "best wires"...as long as you get enough current, theres no audible difference. I would also be willing to bet in most car systems (yours and mine included) if not all, you or I wouldn't be able to tell a difference in a blind AB test switching up speaker wire and RCA's, cheap vs. expensive (as long as one of the RCA didn't pick up noise).
So in other words, find cheap flexible 0 guage wire and cheap RCA's that match your install or give you what you want at a nice pricepoint. If you're looking to make your car sound good, spend less on wiring and the money you saved on dampening. www.knukonceptz.com is a popular choice or you can get most/everything you need at parts express. Hell, I think my power wire is "boss"...it gets er done though
Just my .02
