blow thru box in maxima

blow thru box in maxima

i got a 96 se and im getting a blow thru box installed right now

this is a pic of what it should look like



my box is be covered in black leather
there will be blue neons and white strobes on the inside
my subs are 2004 kicker s12l7 silver and blue 2 ohm
the plexiglass will have a sand basted trim around the edge so it glows at night
and this box is ported into my rear deck

as soon as i get the car back i'll post pictures

thats an olds aroura, how is this box constructed? i was considering doing this myself except i want to use a prefab box and make a bezel to form fit it into the trunk. anyone done this?

wow I was an installer for 10 years and I never heard of a "blow through" box.

I know what you are talking about though. The way that is configured, the box is enclosed and fires through the ski hole. Kind of producing a bandpass effect.

could you send me a pic of how it looks? I have a 15" L7 but its in a regular box that pretty much owns my trunk.

hhm l7s in a bandpass is some serious bass, especially with a port into the cabin.. it should sound sick bro
