Well, I put in one of those nifty grounds that go through the spare tire well, where you have a bolt sticking outside of the car. I was worried if having a ground exposed to lets say - water would do damage to anything with my equipment. Just worried if I was supposed to cover the exposed bolt part of the ground with something, am I?

Simple, maybe stupid question, but please help. Thanks all.

 

it won't do anything to the system...though any bare metal exposed to the elements will rust. and you being in up north where they use a lot of salt during the winter, i'd cover any metal with some paint to protect it.
