2005 Models - XM and MP3 questions?

Hey guys-

I asked this in the wrong forum the first time..

What I'm wondering is how hard it is to get XM into the stock deck on the Maxima? I hear it's around $700??? If that is the case - how possible is it to swap in a new XM ready headunit?

Thanks

Jeff

It costs 700 to run Sat radio through a factory deck because the stealership is the only one who can do it. Anf of course they rape you.

Swapping a new XM ready head unit isnt hard at all.

Even in the 6th gen's?

I've swapped many head units out of many vehicles, from the pic's I've seen of the interior of the 5th gen, it looks like it's molded into the whole facia..

Thanks for the reply..

Yup, its not too bad.

Metra 99-7404 is the dash kit, and all Nissans are similar in the ways they come apart.
